Steeper Clinic Statement on Coronavirus

Following the recent outbreak of Covid-19 or Coronavirus, we will be keeping you informed of measures we are taking at Steeper Clinic to help minimise the spread of the virus, protect our staff and maintain our capacity to provide the service needed by our patients and maintain product supply.

Throughout this challenging period our primary objectives are;
  • The health, safety and wellbeing of our patients
  • The continued and timely supply of goods and clinical services to our customers
  • The health, safety and wellbeing of our people
We are following all advice issued by the National Health Service, UK Government and our company advisors and ensuring this information is shared across our clinical and manufacturing network.

To help ensure the safety of our people and patients we have increased the provision of information regarding hand washing, the provision of additional hand sanitisers and single-use tissues. We are also implementing plans to support home working where possible and flexible working patterns to ensure we maintain our capacity to deliver to all customers.

Our patients' health is vital to their wellbeing, so we therefore advise anyone experiencing symptoms of Covid-19; defined as a new continuous cough or high temperature, not to attend their appointment but to phone first to postpone or rearrange as a telephone appointment and follow the self-isolation advice given by the NHS.

We are actively contacting patients with appointments in the coming weeks and exploring the possibility of non-direct contact appointments where practicable. However, patients who urgently need to be seen in person will continue to be seen by a clinician.
It has also been advised that people are to avoid all non-essential travel therefore if you need to rearrange an appointment please contact the clinic. However, if your appointment is essential, our clinicians are still conducting in-person appointments.

Regarding the continued supply of required goods and clinical services:
  • We have taken all possible precautions and increased stock levels of high priority materials where possible
  • We are continuously reviewing the contingency plans from our suppliers
  • Our manufacturing facility is well equipped to deal with staffing shortages and we continue to monitor the situation
  • Our clinicians are as usual following meticulous hygiene procedures and have increased the frequency of handwashing even further
If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact us via phone on 0113 207 0432 or email
